Please arrive 10 – 15 minutes before your scheduled class time; this gives you plenty of time to check-in and get situated before class.
No Shoes, Cell Phones, Keys, Purses etc. in the studio rooms. The heat and humidity is good for your health – it is not good for the health of your cell phone. We have cubbies just outside of the studio rooms for you to store your belongings.
Please honor yourself and the others around you by saving conversations for after class – you are welcome to hang out in the café before or after catch up with your friends;)
Your body is full of infinite wisdom and the better you are able to follow its cues the better your yoga practice will be. Try not to be concerned with what the person on the mat next to you is doing or even with what you were able to do in previous classes. Use each class as an opportunity to explore within your body as it is that day.
Yoga is your opportunity to play and explore with in your own body and gain a deeper understanding of yourself. Allow yourself to let go of expectations you have and enjoy the journey.
Quite possibly the most important pose of the class, Savasana allows for all the previous asanas to integrate into the body. Don’t deprive yourself of this sacred time. If you must leave class early please let your instructor know before class. He/she will guide your for when is an appropriate time to take your savasana.
